Position Summary:

Reports to the Director, Materials Distribution Center and is responsible for the supervision of personnel in the JHHS Distribution Center. Directs workers engaged in receiving, shipping, unpacking, picking, staging, storage, verification, and all other activities required to successfully maintain adequate supplies of stock items for all JHHS member institutions. Assists in planning, organizing, and controlling inventory levels to achieve corporate turnover, inventory dollars and service level objectives. Responsible for inventory variance pertaining to handling errors. Responsible to provide administrative, operational, and logistical support for the management of surplus equipment and furnishings.

Education:

Completion of two years of college or equivalent is preferred in order to prepare reports, perform calculations, maintain records and deal effectively with people.

Work Experience:

Requires a comprehensive understanding of all procedures and equipment used in receiving, storage and distribution of supplies used by member institutions.

A minimum of 2-3 years of related supervisory experience as well as three years of related experience.

Shift:

Day Shift, Full Time (40 hours)

5:30am 1:00pm
