District Sales Manager

Position Description:
Responsible for driving share holder value through the maximization of market share, sales, and profits. Effectively lead trade execution through the management of field personnel within a designated territory.
* Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
* Responsible for the coaching, developing and encouraging excellence from a diverse team.
* Directly responsible for the management, planning, and administration of sales and distribution of a designated sales territory.
* Manage sales, profit and operational expenses for designated sales territory.
* Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
* Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
* Monitor market execution and merchandising standards compliance.
* Manage and audit team member's timekeeping.

Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* 2+ years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery sales required.
* Requires experience managing people/budgets.
* 3+ years supervising sales staff.
* Some beverage experience a plus.
* Intermediate computer and database application skills.
* Ability to create and conduct sales presentations.
* Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
