JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Emergency Department Technician is responsible for assisting Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in treating patients throughout the Emergency Department under the direct supervision of licensed staff and Nurse Manager.
Full Time - 72 hrs/biweekly
Education: Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant program or EMT program
Experience: One year experience in acute or long-term care setting preferred. Successful completion of Jefferson Health Northeast Skill Competency Evaluation.
Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements: CPR certification, Current CNA and/or EMT certification, Annual skill competency assessment, and CBT Training
