JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY
The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for helping configure existing simulation platforms to be accessible remotely through a web application. This role is also responsible for developing a cloud base environment that will enable engineers to access simulation flows for the design and verification of systems such as autonomous driving (ADAS/AV), 5G systems, electrification. This role will build up the stack from the ground up, end to end, making sure the architecture will be flexible and scalable. As our simulation technology evolves rapidly, the environment will have to be frequently updated with new versions and features. You will be a member of a world class solutions engineering team that is helping customized solutions in the ever more complex engineering world, covering a wide range of applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and build solutions
Architect and develop a back-end infrastructure to allow starting cloud instances that will run complex simulations on Virtual Machine or containers
Configure flexible front ends to enable user to configure, launch and postprocess simulations
Ensure secured access of the application
Design the infrastructure to be easily maintained (frequent updates), flexible (frequent simulation flows changes) and scalable (multiple users will require instances)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree
A minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud technology frameworks on Azure or AWS
A minimum of 5 years of experience with back-end engineering (virtualization, containers)
A minimum of 5 years of experience with programming tools such as Python, C++ and C#
Knowledge of component and system validation in a virtual environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Self-driven and highly motivated team player
Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in Computer Sciences or related field
Experience with system and or simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, any ANSYS solver,
Good understanding of engineering or physics
Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment
Ability to travel up to 10%
