JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION PURPOSE The HDE Project Specialist is responsible for utilizing The Home Depot At Home Services systems and processes to manage exceptions in jobs and find solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring the customer experience through working with a variety of different jobs at different stages of completion. They will analyze and interpret data and reports to identify factors creating road blocks towards completion and resolutions of jobs. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 30% - Manage exceptions in jobs when they don't move through the installation process and finds solutions to closure. 30% - Partner with customers, installers, field personnel, vendors, branch support, and all other parties as required to find solutions to exceptions. 10% - Follow a daily and weekly cadence for resolving issues on a timely basis. 10% - Act as primary source of contact for issues for an entire division in an effort to reduce cycle times on jobs. 20% - Analyze and interpret data contained in multiple reports on a daily basis or as needed. NATURE AND SCOPE This position reports to Operations Manager. This position has 0 direct reports. ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience with Ordering coordinator and Scheduling coordinator roles. - Experience with windows and doors helpful. - Familiarity with HD products a plus. - Previous call center experience. - Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, initiative to complete tasks with little or no direction. - Demonstrated ability to develop relationships though partnership and a solution driven attitude. - Must be customer service oriented. - Bilingual preferred, but not required. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal). - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; keep accurate records and follow up as necessary. - Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills. - Ability to work as part of a team. - Highly organized approach and ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
