Title:Information and Communications Technologies, (ICT) Technical AnalystProvide technical and strategic support to the NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement) Program Management Office on ICT developments, trends, and issues. Technologies of special focus include the Government Strategic Sourcing, (GSS) initiative for Workstations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Provide technical and customer focused support for the GSS Workstations program.* Analyze current buying trends and contract vehicles for GSS Workstations.* Interact with customers to identify areas of potential improvement and functionality of the NASA SEWP GSS buying portal.* Interact with representatives of GSA, US Army, and NIH in determining specifications for GSS V7.* Collaborate with federal agencies and industry to review technical specifications of GSS V7 requirements to arrive an appropriate solution.* Participate and represent the SEWP PMO in meetings related to GSS and other ICT initiatives.* Assist SEWP staff on monitoring and research of ICT strategic initiatives, trends and developments.* Stay up-to-date and be prepared to brief the SEWP staff on emerging technologies, computing strategies and current trends in the ICT Industry.* Coordinate with SEWP teams to ensure accurate and timely analysis on technical solutions when presented.* Maintain strong customer relationships, track all activities and provide status updates and notes/future activities.* Participate at events, trainings, and conferences as appropriate.* When requested prepare and or deliver technical presentations within the SEWP office or at trainings, conferences, and other public events.* Develop and document processes and procedures.* Ability to travel locally (10%) / within CONUS (25%)* When requested provide the SEWP staff with information on applicable laws, policy, and regulations which impact the specification and acquisition of IT Hardware including impacts on GSS initiative.* Assist with SEWP Quality Assurance Team on Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) changes and updates that may impact the SEWP Program.* Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:* 5-7 years + of progressive experience in technology related positions focused on IT hardware and infrastructure.* Experience in or knowledge of the federal government IT strategies preferred.* Knowledge of current IT industry and trends including workstations/hardware architectures.* Self-starter with strong problem solving and critical/strategic thinking skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations to government and industry audiences.* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic, team-focused environment.EDUCATION:* Bachelors degree in information technology or a comparable discipline.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
