Our West Hartford, CT-based Goodrich Engine Control Systems group has been a leader in advanced fuel control systems technology for aerospace and industrial applications for over seventy-five years.
The West Hartford location has an immediate opening for a Test Engineer.
' Job will entail design, development, programming, debug, and modification of test rigs used for production and development testing of gas turbine fuel pumps and fuel controls. Will include planning to insure timely delivery and commissioning to production.
' Assist production management with test issues.
' Review all aspects of test platforms appropriate for the company's applications, including selection decisions.
' Provide cost and schedule estimates for subsequent approval.
' Report status to department manager.
' Follow test requirements from the product designer.
' Document design quickly and with high accuracy.
' Provide test liaison support with subcontractors as necessary.
' May involve occasional travel.
' Experience in programming data acquisition systems, electronic test design, and specification of components required for test system design creation.
' C Programming knowledge a plus.
' Familiarity with National Instruments software is a plus. Company will train a suitable applicant in National Instruments Labview.
' Able to document test procedures.
' Be able to make prototypes of test circuits.
' Be a problem solver.
' Work with minimal supervision.
' Have a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (permanent resident) for this position.

Minimum of 3 years in the design and development of electronic production test equipment for mechanical systems. Must have experience working with data acquisition and control hardware.
