Type of Degree: BS, preferment recent graduated in Computer Science or related.
Responsibilities in this Role
Contribute to the technical initiatives and/or projects requiring integration of cross-functional systems. Provides technical guidance in evaluating application system or evaluating requests for proposals.
Primary responsibility includes developing, and implementing java/J2EE application projects, features and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well documented code.
Practices safety-conscious behavior in all operational processes and procedures.
What are we looking for?
1- 5 years of Java/J2EE development experience, hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience with strong understanding of transforming business and functional requirements into technical solutions
Prefer experience with or knowledge of: IBM Rational Products, web-based platforms, C++ and IBM Jazz Team Concert.
The Java Developer position requires a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field
Experience in SDLC, both Agile and Waterfall
Solid knowledge of high-scale, multi-tenant Web service development, including RESTful APIs and micro services, and SOA services
Experience with Java, J2EE, Websphere, SQL, ETL tools, GitHub,
Candidate must have excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts
