JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties/Responsibilities:



* Maintain the contractor pre-evaluation program

* Manage the locks required for the lockout/tagout program

* Maintain the Safety Data Sheet system

* Maintain the Corrective Action Log database

* Maintain the Spill/Emission Reporting database

* Maintain the Incident Reporting database

* Maintain the facility's Records Library

* Audit work permits to verify proper completion and report errors or deficiencies to HS staff for additional action

* Act as the liaison for service providers (uniforms, safety footwear, etc)

* Maintain the EHS&S content on the electronic communication boards. Assist other departments with this task as needed.

* Maintain inventory of EHS labels and various permits

* Assist the Environmental and the Health, Safety, and Security departments with miscellaneous tasks

* Assist in the collection of data necessary for PHA's

* Update the procedure web with new or revised documents in the absence of the Procedure Web Administrator

* Assist the H&S department with Active Learner management

* Assist the FSO with communications between the facility and the toluene ship's agent

* Assist the FSO in providing company identification and TWIC cards when appropriate

* Provide backup coverage for the front gate



Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:



* High school diploma required, Associates Degree preferred

* 1-2 years' clerical experience required

* Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential

* Must be able to obtain D.O.T. Hazmat Employee certification

* Strong people skills to communicate efficiently with contractors, visitors, and co-workers

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, to coordinate and prioritize multiple activities with minimal supervision

* Be able to work in a team environment and independently with minimum supervision

* Exceptional computer skills a must including Microsoft Word, Excel & Access

* Strong data management and organizational skills required

* Be capable of performing the following physical requirements: Lift 25 lbs., Sitting 50-90%, Walking 25-30%, Climbing stairs 5-10%, Bending 40%, standing 5-10%, Kneeling 5%, Overhead movement 10%
