Tantus is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - Air Traffic Organization (ATO) NAS Integration Support Group (NISG), Navigational and Communications Support Team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

* As the Systems Engineer/Navigation and Communications lead, supports the In-Service Management (ISM) of multiple complex systems across the National Airspace System (NAS)

* Evaluates and coordinates national Navigation, Communications and Visual Aids by analyzing related NAS Facility data and Operational issues for trend analysis and planned improvements

* Address critical operational issues for the National Airspace System (NAS) Field Facilities

* Provide support to the Program office to ensure full compliance of the Acquisition Management System (AMS)

* Provide assistance to the requirements, acquisition and logistics organizations in developing an Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) for Navigation and Communication Systems

* Collaborates with other Service Organizations to develop and deliver Systems/Services

* Plan, develop and facilitate National Interchange Meetings

* Act as the liaison between local Technical Operations and the different Program Offices

* Collect and analyze cost, reliability and availability data from the NAS Field Facilities

* Analyze supportability reviews from the FAA Logistics Center (FAALC) and create solutions for obsolescence and supportability issues

Requirements:

* Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science

* At least 8 years of relevant experience
