SEACOR Island Lines offers marine transportation,
drayage, stevedoring, cargo loading, agency, wharfage,
and terminal services. SEACOR Island Lines modern fleet
of vessels and equipment is designed to service a wide
range of ports.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join
our team for the following position:
Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Reports To: CEO
Schedule: Monday through Friday and additional as
Location: Based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance
Experience: Minimum 3 years finance experience
Skills/Software: High proficiency in Excel; prior
experience with ERP systems preferred
(Oracle, Hyperion, etc.)
Traits: Able and willing to travel, flexible with work
schedule, strong communication skills written, verbal
and ability to effectively communicate with a diverse
audience within and outside of the organization,
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for issuing monthly P&L and provide
variance explanations for actual versus budget to
department managers and senior management.
Analyze monthly financial and operating results,
identifying and explaining key variance items; identify
areas of improvement and make recommendations for
Budgeting and Forecasting
Coordinate the annual budget process including working
with department managers on budget details by performing
various analysis on assumptions used to compile the
current year budget and update mid-year forecast.
Aid in the development of the Company s long range
planning through analyzing data trends and developing
multiple year projections.
Develop, interpret and implement various financial
models/scenarios for financial planning.
Provide modeling/scenarios for proposed tariff
increases, customer profit models, and long-term
business proposals including research on local business
Provide ad-hoc support for various Seacor Island Lines
stakeholders or departments
Financial liaison between business unit and
corporate/segment accounting group.
Support operations and segment accounting group with
