Aon is looking for a Business Analyst-Investment Consulting

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Investment Consuting in our Chicago, Atlanta, Norwalk, or Seatle offices.


* Maintain a portfolio of client accounts as project manager and own the financial performance of those accounts including:

* Contract: own set up/renewal process, meet with client team to determine invoicing/project requirements

* Review revenue plan, billing plan, and all other contract attributes to ensure accuracy

* Accounts Receivable: monitor balances to ensure balances remain current; pursue past due accounts (with collectors where necessary)

* Backlog: notify consultants of upcoming contract expirations; monitor balances and identify opportunities to minimize balances

* Understand issues and help resolve them through analysis, research, and team collaboration on complex issues

* Elicit, analyze, and document requirements by communicating directly with colleagues to resolve issues

* Assist with connecting processes and overcoming internal silos

* Demonstrate awareness of time-sensitive issues and prioritize accordingly

* Support department business operations, financial processes and improvement/efficiency initiatives

* Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for department, extracting data from other systems as necessary

* Track execution of complex action items discussed during cross-functional meetings and working sessions


* Bachelor s degree in Finance and/or Accounting

* 2-4 years of industry experience

* Ability to analyze and resolve financial issues

* Working knowledge of Excel

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Familiarity with enterprise systems and tools (e.g. Peoplesoft,, Oracle CRM, Workday, Coupa)

* Ability to partner and collaborate with colleagues within various finance disciplines

* Ambitious, strong team player, willing to own responsibilities and take initiative
