Aon is looking for a National Transportation Account Executive who can sit in our Little Rock, Chicago, Atlanta or any of our Aon offices.
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aon Risk Solutions Group.
An emerging leader who is responsible for the day-to-day account management of Aon's independent contractor and small fleet programs as their primary role. Leads client service teams to identify and meet client needs and thereby retain and grow a profitable book of business. Through service, pricing, consultation, reporting promotes the value Aon delivers to clients.
Retains and grow Aon's independent contractor related business, cultivating relationships with senior client decision makers as well as day-to-day operational contacts. Facilitates relationships between clients, independent contractors, Aon, and insurers.
Manages implementation of small fleet and independent contractor solutions and executes program growth and marketing plan. Ensures client service team understanding of client needs, services delivery methods, and economic framework relevant to services delivered. Lead stewardship planning and annual program review.
Ensures overall account profitability with a value-based approach for the scope of service and cost associated with the Client Promise Plan. Creates marketing plan, in concert with program sponsors, to drive participation in Independent Contractor and Small Fleet Programs. Monitors and reports performance of programs to ensure overall account profitability.
Understands and work in alignment with Aon Leadership Model and its pillars of Client Value, Unmatched teams, Innovation, Results, and Values. Establishes clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for client service team that deliver Aon products and services to each client. Ensures that team members meet their responsibilities and seek changes in team composition as appropriate.
Directly and by teaming with producers and account executives, actively drives client penetration and new business with existing and potential new customers through the introduction of products, services, lines of business and industry expertise. Follows the Discovery Process of Client Promise to identify each client's needs and develops a Client Promise Plan to help clients achieve their goals and objectives. Serves as a resource of industry, product, or market area expertise to internal and external clients.
* Experience in marketing to Carriers, Transportation and Logistic companies would be ideal but not necessary
* Maintain a current insurance broker s license, or be able to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment
* Experienced with MSOffice tools and offer strong communication & presentation skills
Bachelor s degree desired or equivalent work experience with preferred 3-5 years working within the National Transportation industry.
