The MIC Hawaii Finance Partner is responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of all the accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial planning and analysis, financial performance monitoring and analysis, and generally maintaining the economic security for the Hawaii operating segment of Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation, an NYSE-listed publicly held entity. The Finance Partner, who serves concurrently as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the segment s largest operation, Hawai i Gas ( HG ), is responsible for all financial aspects of the MIC Hawaii businesses including assets, budgets, contract analysis, credit, insurance, regulatory, tax, and treasury in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and in compliance with the corporate policies and procedures of its parent, Macquarie Infrastructure Company Inc. ( MIC ), and relevant federal and state laws and regulations.

This is a challenging and intense leadership position in a frequently stressful public company, finance and accounting environment that requires a unique combination of skills and drive.

Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent combination of related experience and education.

Ten years of accounting and finance experience in roles of increasing responsibility and scope.
Five years of management experience overseeing a staff in a US SEC registrant operating in a SOX compliant environment
Experience in working with Banks, Investment Banks, etc.; with regulatory agencies, PUC, DOE, FERC, etc.
Experience with:
risk management and hedging
insurance and related risk management programs
SOX and related compliance programs
integrating and managing cost accounting systems, project accounting capital and tax accounting
regulated and non-regulated environments.
