POSITION SUMMARY:

This position acts as a focal point for incoming first mortgage phone inquiries on customer service line. Customer Service Reps interface continuously during the day with mortgage customers to answer phone inquiries on any of PHH products or services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Listen to incoming phone calls from customers regarding their mortgage loan, identify the reason for the phone call and provide the customer with an appropriate response

* Analyze information provided by customers, diagnose root causes for their problems/concerns and offer viable options/solutions to resolve their problems/concerns

* Utilize scripted materials to provide solutions to customers

* Collaborate with internal resources to resolve more complex problems

Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Minimum of one (1) year previous customer service experience in a financial setting preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* Analytical, with an ability to identify and resolve problems

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to meet the needs of external customers by delivering high quality service

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently

* Well organized, paying close attention to detail

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner

TRAVEL / WORK SCHEDULE

Several shifts needed; included, but not limited to:

* Monday Friday 8:30am 5:00pm

* Monday Friday 9:30am 6:00pm

* Monday Friday 12:00pm 8:30pm

**All shifts will require a rotating Saturday with 1 day off during the week.
