Responsible for planning and scheduling manufactured products, including intermediates and finished goods to effectively optimize use of resources to meet the needs of the markets served to ensure customer satisfaction, in conjunction with Program Management (PM) and Manufacturing (MFG) to review and schedule the production batches. Will ensure the material master data accuracy and will develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BoM) to grant timely execution for all production processes while acting as Subject Matter Expert in planning activities as well as in BoM. Lead and coordinate the material handlers and schedulers team to ensure the maintenance on the kanban system and optimization of inventory levels in Manufacturing stocking areas at the same time the consumption of materials in SAP is performed in timely manner to grant inventory accuracy and material traceability. Will identify, own, and lead special project complex in nature related with Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives (e.g., 6s, VSM, RCA, Kaizen, etc.) to optimize the resources and minimize the wastes. Will be responsible for manufacturing orders and forecasting inventory requirements. Analyzes capacity and resource requirements and coordinate necessary adjustments. Schedules and directs Manufacturing Coordination Meetings, and track production performance to schedule with MFG assistance. Responsible for material master data accuracy. Participates with Material Management (MM) in the logistics planning for raw materials, WIP, and finished product. Identify and implement new technologies. Identifies and implement cost savings in department. Contributes to cost center budget creation. Maintains headcount within budgeted numbers. Leads development of strategy formation of their area of expertise. Train others on applicable area of knowledge and Operational Excellence concept and tools. Actively coaches and mentors others team members. Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Biology, Chemical Engineering, CIS, or a related field plus 2 years experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 24 months experience scheduling and long term planning. Must have GMP knowledge. Experience with Operations Management (cGMP, safety), SAP Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) modules.
