We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), for our Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI) Business Line.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for mission critical applications, execution of joint strategic planning with major automotive manufacturers, and creating profitable growth targets in Western KY and Louisville.
Reporting to the South Zone Manager - Motor Vehicle Industry, applicant will be responsible for the following:
Real-time assessment of our business position in automotive manufacturing facilities (and their suppliers) in the territory (i.e, SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.)
Creation of a sound business plan and on-going activity plan
Execution of all MVI sales processes and strategies
Development of complete customer satisfaction in all MVI accounts
Development of positive relationships in all MVI accounts
Development of positive relationships within Atlas Copco (i.e., all internal customers)
Formal introduction of all new products to MVI customers with customer specific value focus
Accurate territory forecasting
Reporting all product needs and competitive activity to Product Marketing
Development of new accounts
Maintenance of existing accounts
The territory for this position is Louisville and Western KY. You must reside in the region.
Business Development, Consulting, Sales, Product or Project Management experience preferred, however not mandatory.
Business to Business sales strategy, industrial/manufacturing management, and strong mechanical or technical aptitude preferred, however not mandatory.
University Degree or equivalent Military Experience required.
