Job Description:
Capgemini Government Solutions LLC has multiple openings for the position of Solution Architecture Manager 4 based out of its McLean, VA U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: assess project's technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks; design and implement project's technical architecture; define structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation; design and validate a complex architecture, involving business process changes coupled with software to better understand people business process, and ensure its successful implementation; identify and challenge several IT scenarios by taking into account business environment; work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in major client organizations; lead Capgemini operations related to market development and/or service delivery excellence; coordinate and direct multiple projects or a single, large, and complex project; deliver defined revenue targets within a particular industry or service area; initiate and maintain client relationships; directly oversee personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering (any), or closely related field, plus at least 7 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Senior Development Lead, Senior Configuration Lead, Senior Integration Lead, or related IT position. The applicant must also have professional experience with: any period of professional experience with all aspects of product development and implementation including planning, documentation, use case creation, technical design, product configuration, defect management and reporting, and application deployment; any period of professional experience working on supply chain engagements that support supply chain processes including product lifecycle management, network optimization, planning/forecasting, merchandising, inventory management, sourcing/e-sourcing, maintenance, and enterprise asset management; any period of professional experience assessing budgets for the assigned project within the service area; any period of professional experience implementing SCM and ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA; any period of professional experience completing projects using technologies including Connect 5, Guidewire, Policy Center, HPALM, or MSVISIO; and, any period of professional experience with managing a team of IT professionals.
