i360 has an upcoming need for an Oracle Federal Financials Project Manager with an active PMP Certification to manage the maintenance and enhancement of an existing R12.2.x Federal Financials System. The preferred candidate should have ten (10+) years of experience in Oracle Federal Financial Applications and Processes. This position is on-boarding September, 2018. Responsibilities: Provide oversight and leadership to maintain and enhance Oracle Federal Financial R12 environment Provide direction and guidance to team resources Provide leadership and guidance to requirement analysis, process review, fit gap analysis, compatibility recommendations, documentation, and consulting services Manage expectations at all levels of the project Develop and maintain a project schedule to review during weekly status meetings Facilitate weekly status meetings and other ad-hoc meetings as well as meeting minutes and agendas Provide weekly status reports and guidance plans Manage and report adherence to Service Level Agreements Prepare project management plans and other related plans as needed to be effective based upon the project size and scope Attend management meetings as needed and provide insight to project schedule and projections Lead processes, document gaps, and provide solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes for customer migration to R12 standard model Provide planning and scheduling direction for project and release management Review and recommend compatibility of existing Oracle R12 configurations Identify any recommended enhancements to existing Oracle R12 configurations Oversee solution designs and data mapping for interfaces, extensions, conversions, and reports Plan cut-over approach for adding new customers into the production environment and post-production support Develop test plans, provide testing documentation, and perform testing activities Assist with training sessions and documentation Plan, coordinate, and provide cut-over activities into the production environment Transition to the post-production support team Provide leadership and expertise to review and recommend customer fit and improvements based upon best practices and R12 functionality Document all recommendations, requirements, design, configurations, meeting notes, test scripts and results, and project issues as needed Requirements: Must have an active PMP certification (provide certification number) Minimum of 10 years project lead / management experience in implementing Oracle Federal Financial applications Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating across all project levels Minimum of 2 years functional experience in implementing Oracle R12 Federal Financial applications with emphasis on analysis, implementation and problem resolution Prior experience developing functional designs including interface and extension designs Prior experience designing and executing end-to-end integration testing Prior experience with data conversion requirements and mapping Prior experience designing and implementing Federal Reports Hands on experience configuring Oracle R12 modules in a Federal environment to enable processes and all associated setup, activities and reports for various business process areas Knowledge and experience of the Federal Contracting Processes and Regulations is a plus Demonstrated strong analytical skills and problem solving ability with prior experience working to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Oracle E-Business Suite Qualifications: Must have strong Oral and Written Communication skills Must have strong experience working within Teams Must have strong Client Support Skills with Flexible and open Responsiveness Must have Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop polished, professional documentation and other written materials Must have strong analytical, collaborative, organizational and problem solving skills Ability to extend a strong commitment to quality of solutions and services provided to client Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision with proactive problem-solving skills The selected candidate will be required to undergo a successful background check before starting the project Must hold a BS/BA degree in relevant discipline such as MIS, IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, and Finance Only Direct Hires (No recruiting or staffing firms submissions will be considered) US Citizenship is required Primary Location: Washington, D.C.
