Position Summary (Purpose): Responsible for the assigned Support staff, complies with company policies and procedures. Performs and monitors the operational activities within the warehouse including inventory control, order pulling, and receiving. Works with peers in to resolve challenges and find solutions that will improve the overall operation.
Supervises Inventory Control Staff (Receiving, Stockroom, Order Picking).
Supervises the daily activity of inventory control.
Audits inventory information for accuracy.
Interacts with internal customers to provide expeditious customer service.
Performs and reviews daily cycle counts.
Researches and analyzes discrepancies and resolves them.
Monitors all inbound receipts to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion.
Develops, implements and maintains inventory control procedures and processes jointly with the Supply Chain Manager.
Develops and implements strategies and procedures for effective control of materials.
Reviews daily/weekly/monthly achievement of KPIs and report variances.
Ensures the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Other duties assigned.
Skills, Experience and Education:
A minimum of High School, Bachelors Degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience.
APICS body of knowledge familiarity preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication as well as Leadership skills.
Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point as well as MRP/ERP experience.
Experience in Six Sigma/Lean preferred.
Must be able to multi-task.
