Technical Support Specialist supporting thermal process equipment and single wafer deposition applications. Must be able to travel on as need basis supporting multiple U.S. customer sites and open to occasional international travel as needed.
Primary emphasis will be supporting TEL INDY and TEL INDY Plus vertical furnaces and NT333 activities.
Assignments will include supporting customer sites in multiple locations across the United States so travel is mandatory and may include supporting single wafer deposition applications.
Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications
Prepare and present technical reports for evaluation by customers
Work with design engineers to test and characterize system design improvements
Work with sales and marketing groups, along with other functional areas, to prepare changes, additions, and modifications, which will facilitate manufacturing
BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years related experience. Advanced maintenance experience on thermal process applications including experience interacting with customers in a leadership role such as EIC or related experience, preferred.
Must be willing to travel.
Job duties may be performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds may be required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional overnight travel to TEL factory, training facilities and customer locations may be required.
