Aon is looking for a Business Operations Analyst to work with the Global COO.





Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions- New York



As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients and colleagues by developing and delivering data and analytics to support growth of our mergers & acquisitions solutions practice. Collaborate with Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions team to drive sales growth throughout our distribution network and solution sets.



Roles and Responsibilities:

* Support Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions growth strategy for private equity and corporate M&A business

* Utilize internal and external sources for client and industry research

* Communicate internally with brokers, originators, client service, and ASATS team members on research objectives and research findings

* Assist with internal projects in a timely, accurate and thorough manner (ranging from market research to client proposals)

* Support emerging business opportunities to evaluate the need and potential for new ASATS service offerings

* Assess opportunities for Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions segment revenue growth

* Perform bi-weekly and quarterly business reports related to ASATS planning and business results

* Work with originators and ASATS management on prospecting and relationship mapping related to new business development

* Contributes knowledge and insight to Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions decision making process and client deliverables

* Prepare spreadsheets and analyze data

* Prepare presentations (internal and external)





Skills Required:

* 0-3 years of relevant work experience

* Bachelor s degree in business, finance, statistics or related discipline

* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

* Project management discipline

* Detail orientation, but ability to draw conclusions and see big picture

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Ability to develop relationships / build confidence of others (both internally and externally) based upon work performed

* Word, Excel, Power Point

* Strong Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets



Preferred Experience:

* Brokers license or willingness to obtain





Education:

* BA/BS Degree required
