JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The Sub-Contracts Administrator is responsible for the proposal pricing model development, cost input and proposal preparation. Performs contract administration functions on new and existing contracts as signed.
Assists with contract negotiations Develops pricing models and cost strategies Monitors current status of assigned contracts Participates in the development of teaming agreements with subcontractors Initiates internal documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications Coordinates with appropriate departments to obtain necessary proposal information Conducts periodic reviews of MSS contract books and database to ensure proper record keeping and International Standards Organization procedures are followed Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft applications Handles fundamental government contract functions Knowledge of contract structure Aware of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Excellent written and oral communication skills Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or Six (6) years' experience in related field without a bachelor's degree. Preferably experience with government contract administrator or contract law Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment
