Idaho National Laboratory is actively seeking a Business Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

- Function as compliance officer leading all audit and assessment activities for the Acquisition and Contracts Management (A&CM) organization.

- Perform detailed analytics on A&CM spend data, providing insights and recommendations to management for the purpose of reducing laboratory costs and improving operational performance.

- Provide cost/price analysis support to procurement agents throughout the various phases of the acquisition process.

- Support the development and implementation of spend analytics (historical spend patterns, procurement volume projections, future spend forecasts, predictive analytics, dashboard development, etc.) for the purpose of reducing laboratory costs and improving operational performance.

- Review organizational processes/systems/procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Provide project management expertise in support of proposed system initiatives, complete requisite Foreign Ownership Control or Influence (FOCI) determinations and support administration of the A&CM FOCI Program.


Baccalaureate degree plus 5-8 years' experience or an Advanced degree plus 3-6 years' experience in a Business discipline.

Must currently hold or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOE "Q" clearance in order to support the FOCI work tasks.

Must currently hold or be capable of obtaining a Qualified Assessors Certification.

Candidate must be:

Capable of completing work assignments with a minimal amount of oversight.

Capable of multi-tasking assignments amidst a number of competing projects and tasks.

Capable of ascertaining if files, contracts, and or Procurement Summaries are compliant with written procedures and policies.

Capable of interacting with a varied audience to include, Acquisition Staff, Requestors, Vendors, and DOE-ID.

The individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
