We are looking for someone who can operate a small pump station plant. Must be able to follow instructions and keep the plant running. This includes performing regular plant maintenance, making mixtures of feed solution, performing simple plumbing and operating pumps.
* Experience running and maintaining mechanical systems.
* Demonstrated experience and success working in a laboratory environment with other team members.
* Ability to work with systems designers to suggest improvements/upgrades to existing plant design.
* Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance, which includes US citizenship.
* Able to travel, on average, one week per month.
* Associate Mechanical Engineering Degree desired but not required. Commensurate experience may be substituted for the degree.
This position will be based out of the ARA Southern Division offices. ARA's Southern Division headquarters is located near the Mississippi River in the historic town of Vicksburg, MS near the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).
