The highly trained staff are compassionate and proud to be a part of this extraordinary hospital. With three state of the art 64 slice GE scanners; the department stays very busy doing 25,000 + exams annually
The duties and responsibilities of the Lead CT Technologist Lead include but are not limited to:
Obtains quality CT images. Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.
Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates CT equipment safely.
Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation and charges. Records pertinent data on CT requisition at all times.
* Prepares CT scanner and perform quality control tests. Monitors inventory of supplies and maintains room cleanliness and neat appearance.
Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.
Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties.
Completes and maintains educational requirements.
Provides leadership to facility staff, assisting CT Supervisor with the daily operational tasks associated with CT services.

REQUIRED: Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
REQUIRED: American Registry of Radiologic Technology
REQUIRED: ARRT - CT Technology Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
REQUIRED: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
REQUIRED: Minimum of 3 year's experience
PREFERRED: Previous supervisory experience, with multiple years of experience.
