Under general supervision, the Materials Coordinator performs receiving, maintenance, storing and issuing of materials, supplies and instruments. Provides quality customer service to all people requesting materials, supplies, and instruments. Functions include: Replenishment of supplies to the cores and OR exchange carts; Return of supplies to the storeroom; building of case carts; delivery of instrument sets; identify and address expired products; receiving / put away deliveries. Works promptly and effectively to insure that surgical procedures have all needed supplies and instruments. Utilizes both expense and asset inventory systems to maintain financial and inventory accuracy. Materials Coordinators who meet the experience requirements of a Senior Materials Coordinator, in conjunction with a score of 80% or higher on validation of knowledge, skills and competencies will automatically advance to the rank of Senior Materials Coordinator.

Full-time, Day Shift

8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Education:

A minimum of a high school diploma is required;

Work Experience:

A minimum of 12 months prior work experience in Materials, Inventory or Warehouse Management is required;
