JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Assists the Office Supervisor/Manager or Practice Coordinator/Manager by helping to coordinate daily clinical area operations by insuring efficient service and patient/client satisfaction. Works under close supervision to assist practitioner with patient care. Also supports front end operations courteously and professionally to process patients into the office for their medical visits. Answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform general business functions as assigned.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent with specialized or technical training preferred. This position requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant course or a minimum of five (5) years experience working as a medical assistant in a physician office.
Experience: Minimum of six months of experience in medical setting preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and be able to adapt to medical situations
Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistance Course preferred. Must maintain current CPR certification, which is renewed annually.
