Multimedia Technicians function as Event Productions
Technician and provide around-the-clock support and
operations for the government client.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive notification of planned/unplanned events,
determine requirements and install/operate high-quality
audio distribution, sound reinforcement/lighting systems
in support of the event.
Perform maintenance of audio-visual equipment and on
permanently-installed audio and lighting systems.
Operate various fixed systems within the client's
facilities (classified/unclassified video
teleconferencing, multimedia presentations and multiple
Install/operate podiums, audio missing consoles, audio
distribution systems, sound reinforcement systems,
digital/analog audio recorders, teleprompter systems and
broadcast lighting systems.
Receive/evaluate event requirements and vision from
representatives and offers insight/recommendations to
achieve superior results.
Coordinate daily with various civilian-government and
military organizations to ensure mission success.
Serve as Audiovisual Technical Director and
Teleprompter Operator for the client, supporting both
Directly coordinate activities of commercial broadcast
engineers and provide audio distribution feeds.
Responsible for all technical aspects of production,
ensuring picture, sound and lighting quality to meet or
exceed applicable commercial standards in the

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's Degree in related field is required, along
with 5-7 years of direct experience with various
fixed/portable audio-visual systems and equipment.
Detailed knowledge of audio mixing
consoles/distribution equipment, audio recorders,
amplifiers, microphone theory, power amplifiers,
loudspeaker/configuration systems and lighting systems
Detail-oriented and organized.
Proficient with computer-based applications (MS Office
Suites, Internet, Outlook and/or Lotus Notes).
This position requires current TS/SCI adjudicated within
the last 36 months.
Federal Background Investigation REQUIRED - please read.
The selected candidates for this position must be able
to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably
adjudicated government background investigation. This
background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and
will include an investigation of your financial,
education, employment, medical, residence, and personal
records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by
