JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing history and physical examinations and carrying out appropriate intervention/procedures as determined by the plan of care. Coordinates care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital established Standards of Care in order to provide and promote the best interests of the health and well being of patients.
The Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program at Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) is one of the largest and most comprehensive programs of its kind in the Southeast and has among the best survival rates in the nation for bone marrow transplants. Northside Hospital s BMT Program is committed to providing clinical excellence and compassionate care for patients undergoing blood marrow and stem cell transplantation.
In 2018, Northside Hospital had among the best survival outcomes in United States for the tenth consecutive year (2009-18), per data released by Be The Match and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research 1. 1. Master s Degree in Nursing
2. Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.
