JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY POSITION DESCRIPTION
Functions in a leadership role, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team as a direct care provider and clinical expert. Develops and implements practice guidelines, participates as active and integral member of clinical pathway team, and maintains the established standards of care and practice through staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education. Knowledge of regulations specific to long term care (LTC), assisted living, home health, and hospice. Assists Employee Health with facility-specific occupational health activities and initiatives. Conducts on-site, facility-specific infection prevention and control activities including surveillance and staff education. Monitors facility-specific workplace safety programs including hazard communication, and occupational exposure to blood borneMaintains facility-specific material safety data sheets and exposure control plan for occupational hazards.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED: 1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 2. Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required, minimum of three years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the area of nursing assigned. 3. Experience in implementing and maintaining policy-driven practices is highly desirable; history of working with state/federal regulations a plus. 4. Current BLS Card (CPR).
