Office Assistant, Capital Markets

The Office Assistant s primary goal is to help ensure that the office functions efficiently. The perfect candidate will present a friendly and approachable demeanor while interacting with team members, visitors, and vendors. He or she will also be highly organized, self-motivated, and detail- oriented in all aspects of the role. The Office Assistant will function as a part of the support team and work closely with the Office Manager. This is an entry level role with the opportunity for growth.

Main Responsibilities
Provide reception coverage and welcome all visitors into office.
Backup for Office Manager.
Provide general administrative assistance for the office.
Responsible for ordering office supplies.
Pick up mail and distribute to office.
Assist with weekly check requests and/or routine Accounting support.
Maintain cleanliness in all common areas and keep them well stocked with supplies.
Assist with building maintenance requests/issues and outside vendors.
Maintain multiple calendars and schedule meetings.
Maintain conference room schedule free of conflict.
Assist with organizing and executing internal and external company events.

Experience Required
1 year of previous administrative experience preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, grammatical, and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work requests.
Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude.
Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

College degree preferred

Computer Skills
Intermediate working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Office work with computers, copiers, and scanners
