JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking Operations and Maintenance Field Specialist for the Department of Homeland Security-Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office who understands systems acquisition with emphasis on chem/bio fielding to include: site preparation, installation, government acceptance testing. In addition, must manage the sustainment of the system to include maintaining sensor locations, performing failure mode analysis, configuration management of retrofits and technology insertion, and disposal of the system. Assist in the technical evaluation of the jurisdiction's application for funding under a Cooperative Agreement. Coordinates with the BioWatch Quality Assurance program to adjudicate audit findings and identify improvements. Assists other technical employees by providing acquisition advice. Authors, edits and contributes to production of acquisition documents, reports, briefings. Bachelors in Management, Acquisition Logistics, Engineering or a technical field related to organization mission.
* Bachelors Degree in Management, Acquisition Logistics, Engineering or related field
* Minimum of 7 years experience
* Active DoD SECRET clearance
* Masters Degree in Management, Acquisition Logistics, Engineering or related field
* Minimum 5 years experience
* Active DHS Suitability
* Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
This position is contingent upon award of a contract expected in July 2020 supporting the Department of Homeland Security.
