JOB DESCRIPTIONSUPPORT SERVICES, FULL TIME 40 HOURS PER WEEK
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Support Services/ Safety Officer, assists with coordinating daily operations of the following departments: Environment of Care compliance, Public Safety, Emergency Management, Parking, Environmental Services, and Research Safety. Responsible for administrative duties across these areas. Each area has a Manager, so this role will serve to assist the Director administratively and operationally across areas.
Also serves as the liaison of Support Services for the Suburban Centers. This includes but is not limited to: Safety inspections at Suburban Centers, initial triage of issues, coordinating work to be completed at the Centers, training staff regarding MEE policies and procedures, contract review of offsite locations, timely follow up on any issues, and communicating back to the Director any needs or concerns.
Responsible for administrative coordination across the Support Services areas.
Assists with regular Safety inspections of all facilities and investigate all safety related incidents to inform the Director of all follow-up related actions and outcomes.
Oversee and aid in the coordination of training and compliance.
Assists the Director in investigative follow-up to reported incidents. Track incident data, action taken and resolutions to identify potential patterns, corrective measures and improvement opportunities.
Assists in Environment of Care rounds, scheduling, follow-ups, and rounding procedures.
Assist with development of departmental policies and procedures, documentation requirements and retention, regulatory compliance programs and Joint Commission preparation. Report non-compliance activity to Director and execute corrective action as necessary.
Maintain working relationships with contract service providers.
Assists Director is preparing for and implementing Emergency Management drills, exercises, trainings, and critiques
Assists Director in Environment of Care Rounds, Safety Committee, and provides follow-ups.
Coordinating and gathering data as needed to increase compliance.
Bachelors Degree in a related field or education and experience in one or more of the areas of oversight is preferred. High school diploma required. Knowledge of Boston Fire Codes, Joint Commission, Public Health and OSHA procedures and enforcement codes, Commonwealth of Massachusetts Criminal Laws, codes and procedures. A valid Massachusetts Class III driver's license.
