JOB DESCRIPTIONPrimary Function:
Under the supervision of the Director Patient Access Services or Patient Registration Manager, performs patient registration, order entry, insurance verification, medical necessity checking, and cash collection for all outpatients seen at the main campus and off campus sites to facilitate quality patient care and timely reimbursements.
Part-Time 20 Hours/Week Days
1. Experience: Previous hospital registration and healthcare insurance experience preferred. Experience working in healthcare related industry required with emphasis on business office activities. PC skills required.
2. Education & Training: Medical terminology required. High School diploma required.
3. License, Certification & Registration: N/A.
4. Other Requirements: Professional and courteous with positive interpersonal skills. Detail oriented.
