PHYSICAL THERAPIST - 7ON/7OFF
EASTERN IDAHO REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (EIRMC)

The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) includes a full-service hospital with 334 patient beds. It serves as the region's healthcare hub, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts of Montana. The Physical Therapist is responsible to provide safe and appropriate treatment to his/her patients. He/she is responsible for examination, evaluation, therapy diagnosis, prognosis (including plan of care), and intervention. Supervises, educates, and informs the PT Assistant or PT Aide in the plan of care and treatment parameters. Responsible for understanding current treatment philosophy and procedures related to the current scope of practice, and documents the treatment in a compliant manner. Communicates directly with the Manager regarding issues needing attention. Supports the hospital and its mission/vision/and philosophy of quality of care, and contributes to the facility wide performance. Functions as necessary based on patient need and availability of resource, and ensures that their therapy practice in the clinic supports and contributes to clinical performance, in the areas of patient outcomes, financial responsibility, and is compliant with regulatory standards. Has a good working relationship with staff and positive customer relations. Contributes to the image of the therapy clinic to the physicians and patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATE:

* Current Utah Physical Therapist license

* BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)

EDUCATION:

* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School
