JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Primary Function:
Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager in the Abington Health Physician Billing Office, the Billing Representative in the Cash Application department is responsible for posting all payments received against the accounts receivables in the various practice management systems. Position should also be able to review payments to determine accurate and timely processing of overpayments.
Full-Time 40 Hours/Week Days1. Education & Training Requirments: Minimum high school graduate; some college or equivalent work preferred.
2. Certificates, Licenses & Registration: N/A.
3. Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a large physician network environment. Must be proficient in reading and understand third party remittance advice.
4. Additional Information: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and knowledge of various PM systems. Must have a good understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
