JOB DESCRIPTION

Description:
Cape Fox Shared Services and Eagle Health are accepting
resumes for an Occupational Health Physician (MD or DO)
to work full time at the FDA in White Oak, MD.
The Staff Physician will provide telephone triage by an
infectious disease and occupational medicine specialist
for occupational injuries and illnesses, including but
not limited to biological and chemical emergencies,
occurring after clinic hours.
* Take a patient s medical history
* Update charts and patient information to show
current findings and treatments
* Order tests for nurses or other healthcare staff to
perform
* Review test results to identify any abnormal
findings
* Recommend and design a plan of treatment
* Address concerns or answer questions that patients
have about their health and well-being
* Help patients take care of their health by
discussing topics such as proper nutrition and
hygiene
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
* Graduate of college or university, medical school
and residency training
* By the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
in Occupational and Environmental Medicine
* By the State Board of Medical Examiners in the State
where the Physician practices
* Two years of postgraduate clinical experience as a
Physician in occupational health
* Biannual certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
* Sit or Stand throughout a regular work day
* Ability to work on computer for long periods
* Strong written and oral communication skills,
organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated with minimal oversight
* Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Some travel may be required
* Must have authorization to work in the United States
as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
