JOB DESCRIPTION

Cherokee Nation Businesses - Federal Solutions, is looking for a Pricing Analytics Analyst I or II.

With a $120 million in annual revenue, 20% growth per year, approximately 200 contracts and 750+ employees, Cherokee Nation Businesses' (CNB) group of Federal Contracting Section 8(a) companies is well positioned to deliver expertise needed to solve complex technical issues. Federal Solutions provides an array of services for 12 of the 15 cabinet-level departments and agencies - from applications and data services to cybersecurity and national defense.

Pricing & Analytics Analyst I Summary

Responsible for preparing basic pricing proposals and supporting the proposal pricing process in order to create and submit accurate, efficient, effective, timely and competitive proposals. Supports ad hoc analysis as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

* Review and analyzes Proposal RFP Analysis/Compliance.

* Prepares routine pricing proposals.

* Supports and prepares ad hoc analysis.

* May perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No management or supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in a business related field of study and 0 - 2 years of Finance or related experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Intermediate knowledge of Excel and the ability to use other Microsoft Office tools, pricing models, and required enterprise systems.

* Basic understanding of government contracting.

* Ability to learn and understand new software quickly.

* Must possess strong communication skills - ability to communicate with various levels of management.

* Ability to work with different departments and cross-functional teams.

* Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability required, including the ability to identify problems.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate controlled office environment. Occasional travel and overnight stay is involved.

Pricing & Analytics Analyst II Summary

Responsible for preparing moderate to complex pricing proposals and supporting the proposal pricing process in order to create and submit accurate, efficient, effective, timely and competitive proposals. Supports rate analysis from a price to win perspective as well as backlog and pipeline analysis from a strategic planning perspective. Prepares ad hoc analysis as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

* Review and analyzes Proposal RFP Analysis/Compliance (read, review and analyze RFPs)

* Support proposal pricing strategy analysis and discussions.

* Prepares pricing proposals for moderate to complex contracts.

* Reviews pricing proposals of others.

* Support rate analysis from a price to win perspective, including Fringe, Overhead, G&A and Profit/Fee.

* Prepares Backlog & Pipeline Analysis from a capture and planning perspective.

* Prepares ad hoc analysis.

* May perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No management or supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in a business related field of study and 3 - 5 years of Finance or related experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to use other Microsoft Office tools, pricing models, and required enterprise systems.

* Working knowledge of government contracts and the process.

* Ability to learn and understand new software quickly.

* Must possess strong communication skills - ability to communicate with various levels of management.

* Ability to work with different departments and cross-functional teams.

* Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability required, including the ability to identify problems.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
