We are pleased to announce the following available position: PRN IT Specialist
Reporting to the CFO, the IT Specialist coordinates information technology, computer and network systems, and telephone support service issues for the facility, to include privacy, control of passwords and security of the servers. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining the hospital security and video camera surveillance. The candidate will recognize and escalate problems in a timely manner to effectively resolve issues without compromising productivity. Additionally, the IT Specialist must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment and take individual responsibility for resolving customer issues.
Essential Job Duties:
The IT Specialist filters Help Desk calls and provides basic support and troubleshooting, such as password resets, printer configurations, break/fix instructions, ticket routing and escalation to Level 2 support; assists with installation and management of computer equipment and related peripherals; collaborates with IT team to deliver excellent customer service in solving computer problems.
Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and Customer Service Skills
Fundamental Trouble Shooting Skills
Ability to document and track workflow, including resolution and follow up actions
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
Previous Healthcare experience preferred
Previous IT/IS experience preferred
must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Additional Requirements: Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
