JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary of position/daily activities:
Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, research and ask questions. The ideal candidate will work and communicate with all levels of employees so interpersonal skills are key. Candidate must be comfortable with using various methods of communication such as email, internal social media, Skype, phone and in person. The ideal candidate will also have a penchant for identifying ways to be more effective and efficient by contributing fresh ideas.
Will work under general supervision and perform a variety of duties surrounding the administration of contracts.
Perform daily accounting and administrative activities involved with the administration of contracts and subcontracts such as reviewing contract awards for adherence to proposal and terms and conditions, setting up and maintaining Invoices in the accounting system, generating and analyzing data and reports, maintaining historical information
May perform additional duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget reports, entries into accounting and timesheet programs, processing and reviewing travel claims according to contract and company guidelines
Interfaces with internal functional teams for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support and achievement of the goals of the business office and AEM
Assists with special projects as necessary
Assist in any internal and external audits as needed
Basic qualifications/experience (the required qualifications which are critical to be considered for the position:
Bachelors degree (Completed or currently in process)
Proficiency in computer applications including Excel and Word
Time Management Skills organizing & prioritizing
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Work well under tight deadlines
Reliable and a strong work ethic
Able to work in team environment
Able to maintain confidential information
Clear written and verbal communication skills (tests will be administered)
Availability to work Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
Desired skills/certifications (any additional skills desired but not required to be considered for the position):
Administrative and/or office experience preferred
Microsoft Teams experience
