SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The Aftermarket Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of aftermarket sales and lifecycle management programs. In this capacity, the program manager will develop the program scope, identify the appropriate stakeholders, drive the execution of the program and the field implementation of aftermarket programs. At the successful implementation of a program, they will monitor the program launch, provide field training to aftermarket field sales staff, and report/monitor on the KPI metrics of the individual programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Aftermarket Program Manager coordinates stakeholders in cross functional teams to ensure completion of projects required to successfully launch a program.
They identify bottlenecks and problems early and in a pro-active fashion and coordinates cross functional alignment and resolution
The role will be required to work with field sales staff, distribution partners and end users to collect voice of customer inputs for proposed programs
The role runs all necessary meetings, documents tasks and owners and tracks completion
Structure the systems and data repositories that may be required
The Aftermarket Program Manager will guide stakeholders in the timely and comprehensive delivery of their assignments.
They will present all aspects that cannot be decided on the working level to the appropriate leadership team members, secure approval, document and drive the decision back into the program team, as needed.
Must have analytical skills to evaluate data and resolve design issues to meet program requirements.
Candidate must have exceptional team skills with ability to communicate with cross functional teams.
THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE UP TO 50% OF TRAVEL.
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
* Experience with Microsoft Project or Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Software Programs is preferred.
* 1-2 years Experience in program management is REQUIRED.
* 3-5 years of product or program development.
* Experience in data management is preferred.
* Experience in marketing is preferred
* Excellent verbal and communication skills are REQUIRED.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a well-structured fashion and strong capability to functionally lead cross-functional teams.
