JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Post-Closing, The Purchase Clearing Manager supervises the team of Purchase Clearing Analysts and is responsible for driving the work of team employees to ensure all loan files meet investor's requirements for purchase within allowed timeframes. Oversees day-to-day functions maintaining production numbers and reports, streamlining processes and procedures while keeping team members on task. Will act as liaison between Supreme and its internal partners including maintenance of feedback loop to insure quality loan production output.
II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures appropriate level of review of loan documents for compliance, completeness and accuracy has been conducted.
Ensures missing information has been obtained, complete files have been prepared, recorded and submitted to the purchasing investor in a timely manner.
Monitors and manages the daily progress of Coordinators/Specialists.
Works with investors and other entities to ensure loans remain on target for timely purchase.
Assists in planning staffing levels; work with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire and employ an appropriate number of employees.
Provide oversight and direction in the operating unit(s) in accordance with the organization s policies and procedures; delegate responsibilities appropriately expecting accountability.
Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Lead employees to meet organization s expectations for productivity, quality and goal accomplishment.
Provide effective performance feedback.
Provide support to leadership in managing operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.
Assess resources necessary to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals; provide recommendations to management.
Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
Review performance data to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
Maintain communication with internal and external contacts (including senior leadership levels) as necessary to ensure expectations and timelines are met.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor s degree preferred.
Minimum 8 years mortgage industry required.
Minimum 5 years of Lead or Supervisory experience required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and confident in technology oriented solutions
Demonstrated leadership or management experience
Strong mortgage lending background in all areas of mortgage operations including: processing, underwriting, closing, funding, and post-closing.
Subject matter expert with agency guidelines, compliance, jumbo investor policies and guidelines.
Ability to effectively present information/respond to questions from managers, clients and customers.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with people at varying levels of the organization.
Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to strict deadlines
Demonstrated experience in analytical, critical thinking, and research techniques
