As an OR Ortho/Neuro Lead Registered Nurse you must be detail oriented, flexible, able to juggle multiplepriorities without missing a beat, adept with technical skills, a team player,and must have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to thinkcritically in a fast-paced, challenging environment. There are many surgicalsub-specialties for learning, including neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, trauma,pediatrics, oncology, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, ear/nose/throat,dental, orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive, and transplant surgery.

Under thegeneral direction of the Director and/or Manager of Perioperative Services therole of the Team Lead is to supervise patient care administered by RN s,surgical Tech s and support services. The Team Lead serves the nursing needs ofthe selected groups of surgical patients by providing oversight of directpatient care; education of patients, families and staff. This position will develop guidelines,maintain accuracy of surgeon s preference cards, implement necessary research,monitor patient outcomes, provide oversight of staff and coordinate equipmentand supply needs as well as provide nursing administrative support.
QUALIFICATIONS What Qualifications You Will Need
CurrentRN license or compact license; Bachelor s Degree or RN Diploma required.
ORCirculator Experience Required
CurrentBasic Life Support
