The Supv House Admin coordinates, supervises and administers activities of the hospital occurring during the assigned shift. Assists Charge Nurses in performance of job responsibilities and works collegially with Nurse Directors in accomplishment of each unit's goals. Advises and assists personnel in emergency situations. Assumes administrative responsibilities in the absence of an administrative officer. Interprets policies, rules and regulations. Advises and assists nursing personnel concerning general nursing activities. Evaluates and coordinates staffing needs of the units. Admin Supv is responsible for assigning beds to all inpatients and outpatients in a timely manner. Works in collaboration with multiple depts. within the medical center and facilitates daily bed management meetings with hospital staff to identify discharges and pending admissions in a time sensitive manner.
* Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
* Associates in Nursing required
* 5-8 years experience in acute care setting
* Charge Nurse experience preferred.
