RN - REGISTERED NURSE - TRAUMA NEURO UNIT (MED SURG)

FULL TIME, NIGHTS

The Registered Nurse (RN) on the Med Surg Trauma Neuro unit:

*

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment for identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act
*

Documents patient care administered
*

Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care
*

Delivers care based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient
*

Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies
*

Supervises contract RNs, LPN, MST, CNA, UC

QUALIFICATIONS JOB QUALIFICATIONS

* Associates Degree in nursing, BSN preferred

* Current Colorado registered Nurse License, may work under valid compact license for 90 days

* Current American Heart Association BLS certification, required

* 1-3 years acute care experience
