Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Assumes responsibility for professional development and continuing educational.
Meets all mandatory and developmental requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
Maintains current RN license in the State of Florida
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required based on the appropriate certification for the patient population.
Based on area of assignment, two years of RN experience may be required.
GN s must present seating pass to take Florida State Board of Nursing Licensing Examination. GN title must be used on all documentation until successful completion of State of Florida licensing exam and may only be assumed for six months from date of graduation.
Failure to successfully complete the State of Florida licensing examination on first attempt will result in removal from the RN Staff, (24/7) job.

Evaluates the patient s progress toward attaining expected outcomes.

Functions as a patient and family advocate.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assesses the data reflective of the patient s status and interprets the necessary information needed to identify each patient s requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs.
