POSITION SUMMARY &RESPONSIBILITIES:
The REGISTERED NURSE WOUND CARE COORDINATOR demonstrates authority,responsibility, and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation,and evaluation of wound, ostomy, and continence care through the hospital. Thewound care coordinator acts as a resource consultant, and provides directpatient care and education as it may relate to patient care/treatment withconsideration for age/condition.
Texas RN license or compact license
Current WOCN Board Certification in Wound and Ostomy
2 years relevant and recent nursing experiencerequired
