JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Job Description :
American Greetings has opportunities available for a Retail Fixture Lead. The Fixture Lead will complete fixture and product installations/revisions for American Greetings retail partners. Leads a part-time crew to build and install greeting card fixtures, complete resets, coordinate department in store moves, and fixture repairs. This is a part-time, hourly/non-exempt position averaging 30 hours per week.
Vacation time and eligibility for healthcare.
Company van, laptop, and iPhone for business use.
This is an hourly position.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Follows up with Installation Supervisor (IS) and/or Field Manager (FM) before scheduled work for specific details concerning store set-up.
Establishes revision requirements and transport or arrange for crew arrival at sets.
Uses company vehicle for business only.
Coordinates with the FM the day prior to the revision to finalize details or last minute changes.
Upon completion of revision, completes appropriate paperwork outlining time and costs. Information is forwarded to the Installation Supervisor on a timely basis.
Coordinates the shipment of extra fixtures/accessories to the predetermined location.
Maintains a set of tools used for installations/revisions.
Repairs fixtures as needed.
Coordinates the installation/revision from beginning to end including the building of fixtures and the complete merchandising of fixtures.
Merchandises product onto fixtures following stock control diagrams.
Follows Best Practices when merchandising the department.
Conforms to American Greetings policies, procedures, and safety directives. Follows store/chain guidelines as to sign in procedures and other account policies and procedures in matters of store security.
Other duties as assigned by the FM and/or IS.

Required Length & Type of Experience:
You have 3 or more years of prior successful retail, merchandising, or customer service leadership experience.
You will regularly stand, stoop, walk and sit; use hands to finger, handle, carry or push; and reach with hands and arms.
Precisely manipulates single and groups of AG product; removes cello wrap, maneuvers carts, opens cartons and uses a hand-held scanner or PDA device
Retrieves and acts on both written and oral communications from World Headquarters or management; reads directions/diagrams in English and correctly executes programs at store level.
You will frequently lift, push and/or move up to 60 lbs. with assistance.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a normal retail/office environment.
Daily travel is expected. May require occasional overnight travel.
