The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Registered Nurses in our unit have the opportunity to use their clinical skills in a dynamic environment. Preparing and recovering various types of patients. A chance to interact professionally with Physicians and expand their knowledge in a state-of-the-art PACU. Registered Nurses provide direct patient care including but not limited to: Postoperative airway management (basic and advance) identification and intervention of cardiac dysrhythmias, monitoring of hemodynamic status and Perianesthesia nursing management of pain relief (acute and chronic) anxiety.
Requires: Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse Licensure. Current ACLS, Minimum twelve months PACU (perianesthesia care unit) Critical Care, ICU (intensive care unit), ED (emergency department) experience is preferred.
